Trip for 2 in the Dominican Republic Rules “TRIP TO THE DOMINICAN REPUBLIC WITH LA VIE EN ROSE” CONTEST RULES

Date on which the contest starts: February 18, 2008 at 12:00 am EST.
Contest deadline: March 31, 2008 at 4:00 pm EST.
The drawing shall take place at: 4320, Pierre-de-Coubertin, Montréal, Québec, on April 7, 2008, at approximately 2:00 pm EST.

The “Trip to the Dominican Republic with LA VIE EN ROSE” (the “Contest”) is organized by Boutique LA VIE EN ROSE Inc. (”LA VIE EN ROSE”) and its sponsor, 9117-7329 Québec Inc. (”Voyages Plein Sud”).

No purchase required. In order to participate in the Contest, you must register online at lavieenrose.com, or in La Vie en Rose and AQUA La Vie en Rose stores. One entry per person. Any attempt to register more than once or any participation form other than the first one submitted by the same person shall be rejected.

Grand prize

1) The grand prize of the Contest consists of a one-week trip package for two people, in the Dominican Republic (the “Package”), provided by Voyages Plein Sud. The Package shall be awarded to the winner selected from among all those who registered according to these rules.

2) This grand prize includes: Round-trip airfare for two provided by Sunwing, between one of the following Canadian cites: Vancouver, Calgary, Edmonton, Winnipeg, Toronto or Montréal, and the Dominican Republic, and an “all-inclusive” seven-night stay (including three meals per day), for two adults, at the Hotel Bahia Principe San Juan de Puerto Plata, in the Dominican Republic. The Package may not be exchanged for any amount of money.

3) THIS PACKAGE DOES NOT INCLUDE transportation between the winner’s home and the Canadian airport of departure, the night preceding the departure, the night following the return required for any connecting flight, any personal expenditures, insurance, taxes, airport taxes and Canadian operational charges (which are approximately $272 per person), which must all be paid by the winner to Voyages Plein Sud or the relevant authorities. The approximate value of the grand prize is $3,000.

4) Cancellation insurance is not available for the grand prize Package.

5) The Package is subject to availability of reservations, determined at the time that the reservation is made with Voyages Plein Sud. The grand prize is valid until December 15, 2008.

6) The participant drawn at random for the grand prize shall sign a declaration and renunciation form confirming that he/she complies with the rules of the Contest and the eligibility requirements, that he/she accepts the grand prize and that he/she relieves from any responsibility the contest organizers, their employees and those of their associated companies, their administrators and managers as well as their officials in case of injury, accident, loss or death related to any aspect of the prize or this contest. The participant drawn at random for the grand prize has seven (7) days after receiving the prize in which to return the declaration and renunciation form to LA VIE EN ROSE. Failing that, another participant shall be drawn at random and the original prize winner shall have no recourse against either LA VIE EN ROSE or Voyages Plein Sud.

7) Neither LA VIE EN ROSE nor Voyages Plein Sud may be held responsible for property damage or bodily harm associated in any way whatsoever with the prizes awarded in the context of this Contest.

Other rules

The participant drawn at random must respond correctly within a deadline to a mathematical skill-testing question which shall be asked of them. Candidates who respond incorrectly to this question shall have their form rejected.

9) The prize shall be accepted as is. No substitution, modification, transfer or exchange for money or another destination shall be accepted. Documents issued in the winner’s name are neither transferable nor modifiable. Voyages Plein Sud reserves the right to replace the prize with a prize of equal value if the Package described above or one of its components turns out not to be available.

10) If the winner is unable to accept one or more of the parts of the prize, no replacement prize or compensation shall be provided to them.

11) The Contest participants must reside in Canada and be of legal age according to their province of residence at the time of their participation in the contest. This Contest is not open to employees of LA VIE EN ROSE and its associated companies, its affiliated sponsors, its advertising and promotion agencies, any person who resides with any of these persons, or any member of their respective families living under the same roof. The acquisition of a valid passport, within the prescribed time limits, is the responsibility of each grand prize winner; the cost of the passport is also the responsibility of the winner. The Contest is subject to all applicable federal, provincial and municipal laws.

12) The Contest shall be announced on the LA VIE EN ROSE website (lavieenrose.com) between February 18, 2008 and March 31, 2008 (the deadline for participating).

13) If LA VIE EN ROSE and/or its sponsor is not able to reach a selected participant, within a deadline of one (1) week following the drawing, another winner shall be drawn at random within the next four (4) days.

14) The winner shall be contacted by email or by telephone, at the discretion of LA VIE EN ROSE, at the address indicated on the participation form, and its name may be displayed on the LA VIE EN ROSE website. The prize shall be sent to the winner by mail.
