I recently had the opportunity to try the new Green Works Laundry Detergent. The 2X concentrated formula comes in a convenient 1.33 L bottle and allows up to 30 loads or you can also buy the 60 load size. I chose original scent, but it also comes in Free & Clear (dye-and-fragrance-free) or Lavender Scent. I have been looking for great new “green” products to help me be more environmentally friendly and I think Clorox has brought us a winner with this one. Green Works Laundry Detergent is 95% Natural and contains plant based, biodegradable ingredients. This is wonderful for the environment and it is also nice to read that they never test on animals. Now for what I really think of this product. At first glance the bottle is attractive, not too fancy and has a simple clean look. The cap doubles as a measuring cup and is graduated into three levels. One line for medium loads, A second line for large loads and a third line for heavily soiled loads. I also like the easy pour spout since I tend to be a little sloppy now and then. The instructions are basically like any other liquid laundry soap. Fill the washer with water, measure and pour in detergent and then add clothes. If needed you can use it to pre-treat stains too. (Just don’t allow it to dry on clothes) The original scent that I am using smells great. It is fresh and clean smelling. It is not over-powering or flowery. It almost reminds me of when you bring your clothes in from hanging outside on the line all day. Just really “FRESH”. My clothes are clean and just as bright as they would be with any other leading laundry detergent. It leaves them soft without any powder residue. I really do recommend this product as one that lives up to it’s claims. Eco-Friendly (phosphate free), good value for the price, can be used in both standard and high-efficency wahsers and gets my clothes clean! I can’t wait to try the Lavender scent next.
Green Works Laundry Detergent can be found in the cleaning aisle at all major stores where cleaning products are sold. Suggested Retails vary from about $8.99-$10.99 for the 1.33L bottle depending on current sales and coupons available.

There is a similar product that does up to 80 loads. Totally environmentally friendly. Great for people with eczema and sensitivities to soaps etc. Also, with this site you get paid to shop online plus if you refer people you get paid on whatever they buy online!
I agree as I got to try it too…but it is way too expensive in my books! I’m all for helping the environment but when I can get 3 bottles of Xtra at Giant Tiger for the same price and get 120 loads instead of 30…those of us who have budgets will not be including this untill it drops in price.
