Candian Free Stuff is Celebrating our 9th Birthday. Its been a long time since December 31 1999.
We have had a whirl wind of a ride up to date.
Origianlly we were the first of one’s kind back when. We were one of the first Canadian freebie boards out there in the early 2000’s. I have seen many wonderful characters over the years.
We have changed our look many times over and over. And have had many colors over the years. But am Happy to report we are finally happy with the Beaver as our Icon.
Where will we be by our 10th year anniversary? Lord only knows. Things change rather fast in the online world.
I have some great *New* Great ideas I want to implement, this year. But am not going to let the cat out of the bag quite yet.

I am relatively new to this site. I am discovering new things everytime I use it. I love the mailman part where we get to see which freebies are good and which not to participate in. My only request (unless I am off the wall and just not aware of this already existing). Is it possible for the sites that requests were made to be specified by our participants. Either way I just love your site and appreciate you wanting to make it better.
OOPS! Something I forgot to ask. When logging on to What did the Mailman bring you is it not possible to have the first page be the most recent date. If I want to see what everyone has received I would like not to have to read to the end. I might be missing something, there might be a different way for me to be using this so if so please let me know.
I have to tell you my favorite moment was when I joined! Honestly I met nice folks…ok not face to face but in comments. We are all thrilled get free things and happy to share our news…it’s like having friends over for tea. Thank you for having such a friendly and well run site. I am Soooooo Happy that I found CANADIANFREESTUFF.COM. I LOVE IT!! I have been looking for a website like this for sometime now. I have been all over your site, but I have not met anybody yet, but I’m sure I will. I have not been off since I found the site. One of the things that I like most in your URL is the Ads. Usually in other URL all kind of ads showing up but in yours I will definitely pay attention to the Ads as the ads have very important message or contests e.g. the one that I see minutes ago was Rexall Resolutions Savings events! You guys have done a really good job. Actually I’m new to this site so I need some time to explore the site and will tell you guys more. Happy Birthday!

The only problem I find is that the pages with the listing always seems a bit “busy” and crowded…other than that AWESOME!!!
Im so happy i found this website! i love the coupons it really helps with alot of stuff! i love entering contests even though i never win! its that gambling chance that it might happen and i dont think you need to change anything! the sites great! HAPPY BIRTHDAY!! hope the others are great!

I am just a beginner but I love this site. I am meeting new people and having fun exchanging thoughts with them. To make this site better, may I suggest posting your questions and answers at the beginning of the site and indicate it as the place to go to get questions answered. This would be so much easier for the beginners like me. I am having so much fun. Thank you and keep up the good work.
My favorite moment was when I was in need of help for something, I can’t remember but it was a while back and I did receive help from so many people. It’s nice to know that there are nice people on the site to try to help out.

My fav moment hmmm….well first I would have to say “the Canadian tire GC Contest” ,that thread is what got me totally hooked on CFS and I made a few friendships that I cherish.

I would like to suggest adding a button beside the thank you button that says expired. Then if we come across a freebie or contest that has expired we could hit the button ad have the post either moved to an archive or removed completely.
In addition to making the forum a little more efficient, it could free up some space.
Just my 2 cents. Anyways, I LOVE this site…very user friendly, extremely nice people. All in all a wonderful site to visit daily and most definately my newest online addiction

I like this site because you know that the freebies offered here arent scams and its nice to see a site devoted to free stuff in Canada.
First, I want to say i like the site… and I know after I post (bec it is negative) i will be asked to leave the site.. oh well…
I like the freebies on some days, but others, I am frustrated with everything being mixed… I think it is great when someone goes shopping and wants to share it with everyone, but it shows in the freebies section… that person tags the comment as *free @ walmart* and I think I should be planning a shopping trip… and it turns out she shopped for free…(congrats) but put it needs to be separated… I also don’t think I like that the “whining” should be included in the freebie section either… there should be a separate area, that if I want to go and share something, then I don’t interupt with the freebies… have you read some of the comments posted after a freebie listing? I wish the US only sites weren’t posted (takes away from the Canadian only) and the “try it and see?” hmmmm… alot of repeats and reposts on this site, and alot of “business only” (ie: french’s mustard.. was there a legitamate person on this site to sign up for it?)
So, now I will sit and be critisized…(broad shoulders) and I don’t expect I will win any prizes, but you asked, and I answered… it’s just a matter of separating… (other sites are quite separated…blogs completely separated from the freebies… -new additions, -coupons only, -online offers, -downloads, etc… ) Cheers… (and now I will be friendless…)

I just joined this site after browsing through a few links. I think it’s amazing how many sites that people have made available for us to find free samples and contests. Right now things are kinda tight and I enjoy getting free samples and coupons whenever I can…every little bit helps…so thank you for providing such a service.
I first stumbled onto this site a looong time ago, my son was only 2 then and now he is 8! (old username was JimJockjam!) Truthfully, I miss the jingle!
