Cheetah is saving Money with coupons. This is her compiled list of how she is saving money.
It is amazing how much I save each week by using coupons. It has become a new challenge for me to see how much I can actually save. My strategy is simple~ Every Thursday I go through all the grocery store ads. I right down who has the best prices and the most on sale that I want/need. Then I make a list and sit down and go through all my coupons. I attach them to my list and pull any other ones that might be good to use before they expire. By hitting the sales and using coupons at the same time, you can really save alot of money. I am going to be tracking my saving so everyone can see how easy it is to save $$$$.

I go along with Peanut…50 cent coupons from any company just doesn’t do any fairness with the current costs of feeding ones family…coupons need to be $1. or better…
furthermore, stores aren’t accepting printed coupons anyway..so, who’s got the advantage here???

Yes coupons can save you money but for most people there are much bigger areas to save.

Eliminating your credit card debt is one of the biggest ones. If you look at how much interest you are paying on your credit cards each month and multiple it by 12 months then you will soon get a sense of just how much money you could save. If you can’t get rid of it all at least curb your spending and save money. We pay our credit cards off every month so I am borrowing the credit card company’s money for 3 weeks and paying no interest. If you do pay your credit cards off fully each month then I would recommend you get a PC Mastercard (Zehrs and Superstore are the predominant grocery banners here so some of my shopping has to occur there). I charge everything I can onto the PC Mastercard every month and pay it off fully each month so not only am I borrowing the money for 3 weeks, I am getting free groceries as well!

I am not a person who believes coupons saves you a lot of money.

They don’t in general. 50 cents is nothing to hurrah about.

Therefore, I no longer use them by choice!!!!
